Adelaide Disch

Adelaide was appointed by the board in mid-2023 to replace outgoing member Julia Misiego and has served as a temporary director and representative of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation (UFBF). She joined their staff in 2023 as the Farmers Market Manager for the Murray Farmers market and South Jordan Farmers Market. Prior to joining UFBF, Adelaide spent many years running small businesses, first as a gallery manager and later at her sister’s organic sourdough bakery & cafe, where she learned her love of seasonal, local food and deepened her appreciation for our country’s farmers. Adelaide has co-chaired the Outreach Committee and is continuing efforts to organize a database of local food suppliers for which the Co-op could be a client. She will likely continue in these roles.
